Pastor Hal, as he likes to be known, was informing his congregation at the Wesley United Methodist Church in Franklin Square, New York (Nassau County). The PUMC maintains its commitment made years ago to the AME Zion Church in Poughkeepsie to support a housing project for low-income people and the Harriet Tubman after-school program for children in downtown Poughkeepsie.
